Children can begin karate at age 5. No prior sports or athletics experience is required. The emphasis is on exercise, flexibility, and respect.Starting with a white belt, children begin the journey of mastering Kyokushin Karate. The goal is to develop the mind and body, while learning respect.

Youth class - Advanced
After mastering the skills required of a white belt, which typically takes 3 to 6 months, youth move into the Advanced class. Here karate fighting skills are learned and those interested are eligible to compete in Kyokushin karate tournaments in Southern California and beyond.
