For the past 40 years, IL-DO Taekwondo Martial Arts has been providing high-quality instruction in the traditional art of Taekwondo in Orange County. As the first to establish a Taekwondo school in Irvine, IL-DO has remained the premier choice for those interested in this popular martial art. With three convenient locations, IL-DO has made martial arts accessible to all who wish to learn. IL-DO is a World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) and Kukkiwon certified school, so those who learn from IL-DO will receive a globally recognized certification. Grandmaster Chang Jin Kang, a Taekwondo master from Korea, has been the leader of IL-DO for over 50 years. During this time, IL-DO has continued to pass down the traditional art and benefits of Taekwondo. IL-DO Taekwondo Martial Arts is proud to have been a staple in Orange County for over 40 years. With their now three convenient locations and the expertise of Grandmaster Chang Jin Kang, IL-DO is committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for all those interested in martial arts and Taekwondo.

Our philosophy is to help students to develop their self confidence through encouragement, praise, and motivating them to attempt new activities. You will watch your child’s self confidence soar as they gain new skills and are rewarded with new belt ranks. This is a great way for them to learn how exciting it is to set and achieve new goals.

Taekwondo is taught and learned in an atmosphere of respect and courtesy. And, while learning Taekwondo is fun, exciting, and rewarding, it isn’t always easy. Your child will learn to gradually increase their effort and determination in order to master more advanced techniques and earn higher belt ranks. This is an invaluable life lesson that will teach your child the perseverance it takes to achieve their goals in every area of life.
