Our school was founded in 1946 with the goal of providing a place for artists from around the world to come together and create something beautiful.
The founders of Idyllwild Arts had a vision for a creative collective that would bring together people from different backgrounds and cultures. They wished to promote intercultural understanding and peace, while also emphasizing the role of the artist in society.
For over 70 years, Idyllwild Arts has been a place of refuge and inspiration for creative minds. We recognize the importance of art in promoting global understanding and progress. We strive to provide a safe and nurturing environment, where creators can come together to create something beautiful and meaningful.
