Moonlight Rollerway is a classic venue that has been around for generations. Located in Glendale, California, it was built in the 1940’s and used to make airplane parts for the great war. In February 1956 it opened as Harry’s Roller Rink, and the original 2 ¼ inch maple flooring - with no nails - remains in place today. The current owner, Dominic Cangelosi, joined the staff in the late 1960’s and has been playing the organ ever since. He acquired the building in 1985 and kept the architecture and ambiance intact, giving it the nostalgic feel of the era. For decades, Moonlight Rollerway has been featured in many television shows, motion pictures and music videos. It has a unique charm that is hard to find anywhere else. With its rich history and beautiful architecture, it is one of the most iconic venues in Glendale. Dominic Cangelosi has been dedicated to preserving the architecture and ambiance of the building since he acquired it in 1985. His passion for the venue has helped it stay relevant and popular over the years.

The Board of Directors at our non-profit organization plays an essential role in setting the organization's vision and creating policy. As a governing body, they also help to drive the fundraising efforts. We are always searching for strategic thinkers to join our Board and make an even larger impact on the Jewish and LA communities. The joy of being a part of our Board of Directors is evident at our Scholarship event. Board members beam with pride knowing their efforts have enabled us to assist over 1,500 children every year. It is a fulfilling experience to be a part of something that is making a positive difference. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference to join our Board of Directors. Our Board plays a significant part in creating our vision and acting as the governing body for policy. It is also a pivotal part of our fundraising efforts. At our camp, we understand the importance of giving campers a safe, comfortable place to relax after a day of fun activities. Our cabins provide a cozy atmosphere for campers to bond with their friends and enjoy some much-needed downtime. With a 4:1 camper-counselor ratio, our campers can feel secure and welcomed. In the evening, campers can take advantage of their cabin home and build relationships with friends. Our cabins provide a peaceful, safe environment for campers to catch up on sleep and enjoy leisure time. With a 4:1 camper-counselor ratio, our campers can feel secure knowing that they always have an adult nearby to assist if needed.

He also developed innovative growing techniques for citrus, berries, grapes, avocados and tropical fruit trees. His dedication to producing flowering perennials was also a key factor in his success. John Armstrong's story is an inspiring one. His journey began with a few acres of land and a dream. Today, his name is synonymous with roses around the world. His success was built on innovation, hard work and dedication. He is an inspiring example of what can be achieved with ambition and dedication.
