About Techknowhow Tech and Robotics Summer Camps

At our camp, we have an experienced group of teachers who create engaging and unique lesson plans throughout the year. For the past 28 years, our teachers have been leading tech classes and have been recognized with multiple awards from parents. They are committed to showing children the amazing possibilities of science and technology. Every lesson begins with a brief overview, and then the students embark on their projects. Our teachers provide guidance, answer students’ questions, and monitor their progress. At the end, the students evaluate their work and collaborate with other campers and teachers. At our camp, our team of teachers are devoted to creating new and stimulating instructional materials year-round. Through 28 years of teaching tech classes, our teachers have earned the admiration of parents and have been awarded for their excellence. They are passionate about introducing kids to the incredible world of science and technology. Every class starts with a brief explanation of the concepts, and then the students get to work on their projects. Our teachers are present to supervise, answer any questions, and make sure the students are on track. At the end of the projects, the students test their performance and team up with fellow campers and teachers.

Summer Camps

Small-group Summer Camps in the San Francisco Bay Area starting June 12. Our teachers mentor students, ages 5-13, in LEGO Design & Engineering, Robotics, and Minecraft & Roblox adventures. Unique camps with new custom-designed curriculum every season.

LEGO Robotics & Game Coding Camps

Get ready for fast-paced robot action! You’ll build and program LEGO EV3 robots to perform tasks such as arena wrestling, ball launching, flag capture and friendly soccer! You’ll learn to program motors and sensors to play and complete the missions. Design attachments to level up your bots! Plus, learn coding skills with Scratch, as we spend afternoons designing a variety of robot and drone-themed games, using code blocks to maneuver craft, fight off waves of alien bots, and more! Bring lunch, snacks and a beverage.

Roblox & Minecraft Camps

Create immersive 3D-worlds and games for all your friends to play! In Roblox, design obbies and a 3d racing game. Learn to create your own terrain, build 3D models, create NPCs with dialogue, and even learn to make code snippets using Lua! Complete a variety of projects which can be published on Roblox and played with friends online! In the afternoon, students will learn to use Blockbench to make mods for Minecraft Bedrock edition. We will use 3D modeling and coding techniques to modify and create mobs such as a Penguin, Fire-breathing Dragon, Guardian Teddy Bear, and more! After completing the class, campers take home what they made and will have the skills to customize their own Minecraft adventure at home! Bring lunch, snacks and a beverage.
