About West Valley Gymnastics School

At WVGS, we are dedicated to helping young athletes reach their potential in a safe and enjoyable environment. Our commitment to athlete safety and well-being is evidenced by our devotion to the USA Gymnastics Safe Sport Policy. All employees are required to take the Safe Sport course to understand the requirements of the “SafeSport Code for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movements” and federal laws, including the “Protecting Young Victims and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017.” At WVGS, the safety and well-being of our athletes is paramount. We understand the importance of the USA Gymnastics Safe Sport Policy, and we ensure that all employees have the knowledge to abide by its requirements. The policy is based on the “SafeSport Code for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movements” and federal laws, such as the “Protecting Young Victims and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017.” All employees must take the Safe Sport course to understand the policy and its implications.

Preschool Classes
It helps build self-determination, and better communication skills. It also improves quality of sleep and fights depression. Participating in gymnastics from a younger age is important. It targets all muscle groups for total-body strength and flexibility Our Preschool Program allows young children does all of these things, in a fun and safe atmosphere.

Beginning Girls Ages 6-18
A 60-minute lesson where your girl will be immersed in the wonderful sports of gymnastics. This level will introduce the basics, events, and fundamentals of the sport. In addition, our coaches encourage the girls to pursue greatness and develop athlete drive.

Intermediate Girls Ages 6-18
Being one of our more intense 60-minute classes, Intermediate Girls 1 takes the Team Gymnastics mentality and makes it into a fun, but challenging, experience for athletes. Classes will include difficult skills for all events, as well as an introduction to Advance tumbling skills. Strength and Flexibility will be pushed, and skill retention will be needed!

Advanced Girls
These extreme athletes will condition and train for in intense 90 minutes! Each lesson will be different from the last, making these girls a force to be reckoned with! The skills at every event will be polished to mastery, and new skills will be introduced to keep them on their toes. Any challenge for these Super Girls will pale in comparison to what they will endure in our Advance Girls Program!
