About Los Angeles Water Polo Club in Calabasas, CA

At the Los Angeles Water Polo Club, we take a holistic approach to help players reach their highest potential. We focus on training players to be both mentally and physically strong. Our innovative training and injury prevention program is designed specifically to support water polo athletes, and is centered around building strength, conditioning the mind, teaching techniques to avoid injury, and coaching fundamentals. Our mission is to offer our members the best opportunity to reach their goals in age group and high school water polo. We foster a team-oriented environment that encourages community, perseverance, and tenacity both in the pool and in life. We are dedicated to providing our players with the best possible resources to help them reach their fullest potential. Our tailored training and injury prevention program is designed to give each athlete the best chance to succeed in water polo. Programs at Los Angeles Water Polo Club in Calabasas, CA

Splash Ball - Ages 5-9 Boys & Girls - Pepperdine Only

This program is for the younger, first-time water polo player who just wants to have fun learning the game. We will focus on the basic building blocks of water polo and there will be no tournament participation in this group – just a lot of fun!

Intro to Water Polo - Ages 9-14 Boys & Girls - Pepperdine Only

9-14 years old, co-ed. Designed especially for the beginning or novice player. Skill building, learning the game, and fun will be the emphasis.

Swim2Score - Ages 6-13 Boys & Girls - UCLA Only

Athletes are broken up into small groups with similar ages and skill levels. This program focuses on water safety and swim techniques geared toward the game of water polo. As the athlete progresses through this program they will continue to improve their swimming skills in all strokes as more water polo specific techniques are added. Practices consist of swimming, water polo drills, and occasional scrimmages.
