Galaxy Kids Code Club offers a top-notch education in all things computer programming (coding), engineering, and technology for children in grades K-8th, ages 6-14. With weekly classes year-round, 1-on-1 private lessons, and week-long camps, we provide a wide range of educational opportunities for kids in Brentwood, Antioch, Oakley, Discovery Bay, Mountain House, and East Contra Costa County.
Our classes are perfect for even the most novice of coders, introducing them to modding Minecraft, game design, Scratch, animation, HTML, CSS, Javascript, robotics, and python. Experienced coders will also find our classes beneficial as we offer advanced coding instruction.

Programs at Galaxy Kids Code Club in Brentwood, CA
Code Club (In Studio or Virtual) ages 8-16
Your child will make art, games, story animations, and more, all while learning core coding skills that will prepare them for success in a technology driven future. Young coders will begin with guided lessons and soon progress to designing and coding their very own creations, limited only by their imaginations! Open to ages 7-14. Students attend class for 1 hour once per week. We boast small class sizes and individualized learning.

Junior Code Club ages 4-7
Jr Code Club sessions are 6-weeks long, offered throughout the year. Filled with fun activities geared towards helping kids explore their creativity and learning age-appropriate programming concepts. Many activities are “unplugged” (no screens). Coders will also code short programs with ScratchJr using an iPad. Open to kids ages 3-7 (preschool – 2nd grade).

Technology Class ages 8-16
Combines lessons in digital citizenship with core technical skills including word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, forms, and basic coding. This is designed to be a year long curriculum, but each month is a separate unit and can be chosen a-la-carte. Each month will cover a different technology (using Google Suite) and focus on a different digital citizenship theme (based on Common Sense Media’s award winning Digital Citizenship curriculum).
