At Academy 831, we believe in the importance of giving young dancers a solid foundation of proper dance technique. Our instructors strive to prevent injuries by providing detailed instruction and correcting incorrect repetitive movement. Our proven curriculum and teacher training program sets our students up for success.
We understand the importance of setting up our youngest dancers for success. That's why our Leap N Learn instructors have gone through a special teacher training program to ensure they have the tools to help each child succeed and reach their potential. Our teachers are not only passionate about dance, but also have the skills to properly teach it. Our curriculum helps to build a solid foundation of proper technique that will help our dancers grow and prevent injuries.
These classes are a prelude to formal dance instruction. They introduce movement and musicality, with a focus on motor skills and rhythm. Students learn dance class etiquette and basic ballet terms. Fun props and creative movement is incorporated to help engage the youngest dancers and lengthen their attention spans.
