Little League has been a part of our society for nearly 80 years, and it continues to provide opportunities for children and adults alike to develop their leadership, character, courage and loyalty. From its founding in 1939 by Carl Stotz, Little League has grown to be found in over 80 countries worldwide, with more than 2.4 million children participating each year. Sweetwater Valley Little League provides a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for kids of all ages to learn the values of citizenship, teamwork, skill development, good sportsmanship, and family values. With guidance from dedicated volunteers, Little League helps kids develop into not only superior athletes but also superior citizens.
