They're led by the fearless and funny Kaya-King, a ten-year-old boy with hair as wild as the white-water rapids, and freckles that dance across his cheeks like constellations. In the balmy California mornings, as the sun peeks over the horizon, the Kaya-kids gather at the edge of serene lakes, rivers that twist and turn like a roller coaster, and the grinning mouth of the mighty Pacific Ocean. With one foot firmly planted on their colorful kayaks, the Kaya-kids would pull on their neon life-vests, slap on their sunblock, adjust their superhero-inspired goggles, and burst into a chorus of laughter before pushing off into the water. Whether they're breaking free from the foamy jaws of a wild wave, navigating the peaceful paths of a lazy river, or having an epic splash war in a calm lake, these Californian Kaya-kids are the heart and soul of this wild adventure called kayaking. Our staff is comprised of many former Camp Kee Tov campers, giving our camp a true family feel. Our camp is open to all children of all religious and ethnic backgrounds, and we emphasize the values of mutual respect, tzedakah, and love of nature.
