About Bay Area Creative Kids

At Bay Area Creative Kids (B.A.C.K.), we want to ensure that children throughout Benicia and the surrounding areas have the opportunity to explore and express themselves through the dramatic and visual arts. Our classes focus on building confidence and inspiring children to comfortably tell their stories to others. We believe that theater can offer them the tools to bring their stories to life and to make their voices heard. At B.A.C.K., we understand the importance of providing individual attention to our youngest learners. As such, our classes are kept small to give every child the chance to shine. We strive to create an inviting and supportive environment that will foster creativity and self-expression. We believe that the dramatic and visual arts have the power to transform lives, and that’s why we are devoted to providing children with the chance to explore and develop their creative potential. With our dedication to small class sizes, every child can get the individual attention they need to reach their full potential.

Drama Time!

Movement-based creative storytelling (kinesthetic learning) for preschool (3.5-5) and kindergarten (5-7) children. Bay Area Creative Kids classes are a great way to introduce the long-term benefits of dramatic arts participation which include developing motor skills and speaking skills, building confidence, and enhancing early social skills and creative learning.

1st-2nd Grade Programs

Our 1st-3rd grade programs are designed to help children to gain language skills , social skills, motor skills, creativity, and self-confidence through theater. Children will read, and perform, reading level appropriate plays. They'll also play theater games, learn stagecraft, and perform for guests on the last day of each session.

Elementary Improv Club

Children will practice teamwork, creativity, and thinking on their feet as they create an ensemble, play classic theater games, and tune their funny bone through Benicia's first Elementary school Improv Troupe!
