About Victory Bible Camp

In the 1940s, a vision was born to create a place where people could come and experience God in a beautiful, mountainous setting. With the purchase of the original 80 acres in Alaska, the dream of establishing Victory Bible Camp was set in motion. Before Alaska was a state, bills had to be introduced in the U.S. Congress to make the purchase possible. Eventually, in 1947, Victory Bible Camp was officially founded and the legacy began. Today, Victory Bible Camp has grown to encompass over 400 acres in the valley between the Talkeetna and Chugach mountain ranges. The campus also provides facilities to accommodate up to 300 visitors, allowing many people to come and experience the beauty of God’s creation in Alaska. Victory Bible Camp has been providing a place for people to come and experience God in the Alaskan wilderness for over 70 years. What started as a vision to purchase 80 acres in Alaska has grown into a 400 acre campus. This amazing camp has stood the test of time, and continues to be a place of spiritual and natural beauty for young and old alike.

Programs

The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.

Alpine Camp (Ages 7-17)

Alpine has endless activities such as boating, hiking, swimming, crafts, archery tag, gaga ball and big group games for maximum fun! Participate in Bible devos with your cabin group and chapel times with the whole camp.

Ranch Camps (Ages 7-17)

Wranglers and barn staff teach using the Certified Horsemanship Association standards to help campers grow in their knowledge and practice of western style riding. No previous experience is needed as classes are focused on the beginner to the intermediate rider. Besides horsemanship and other Ranch specific skills, campers have the opportunity for hiking, swimming, boating and more!

Adventure Camp(Ages 7-11)

Adventure camp is designed for campers to experience and enjoy God’s creation. Campers will canoe, hike, learn survival skills and practice team building. Those 12 years and older will camp and experience white water rafting in Denali National Park.
