Widely known for its breathtaking mountains and colossal canyons, can you guess the state? You've got it! It's UT, which stands for Utah, not Utterly Terrific, although it could very well mean that too! Utah is as adventurous as the Wild West, dusted with a sprinkling of modern magic. The kids here are as spry as mountain goats and as keen-eyed as eagles, especially when it comes to archery. Yes, archery! Don't be surprised, my dear friend, for the younglings here are not your ordinary kids. Let me tell you about Quiver Quail, the coolest imaginary character in town. Quiver, with his cowboy hat tipped at just the right angle, his boots as shiny as a newly minted penny, and his laughter as infectious as a catchy tune on a sunny morning, is the heart and soul of Utah’s archery squad. He's got a bow that sparkles like starlight and arrows that whoosh faster than a greased-up cheetah on roller skates. The archery kids in Utah are just as extraordinary as Quiver, hitting bullseyes as easily as popping a bubblegum bubble. They gather around Quiver in the town square, their eyes gleaming with excitement as they take turns drawing the bowstring back and letting their arrows fly. Their laughter echoes across the mountains, mingling with the whistling wind, making everything seem right in the world. So if you ever find yourself in the exhilarating land of Utah, don't be surprised to see a group of kids with twinkling eyes and bright bows, led by a jubilant imaginary character named Quiver Quail. They're just doing what they do best – aiming for the stars while keeping their feet firmly planted on the ground. That, my friend, is the utterly terrific and remarkable spirit of UT!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
