Welcome to our nature walk! We’ll be starting off by doing a quick roll call and collecting cash payments. Then, it’s time to explore the outdoors with your little one! Bunny, your host, will be there to lead the group as they take in the sights and sounds of nature. Encouraging exploration is a key part of the experience. Show your child how to safely interact with the environment around them. Let them touch plants, lift rocks, and get a bit dirty or muddy on wet days – it’s all part of the fun! Bunny will make sure to come over and introduce herself to each child on an eye-level basis, and spend some time encouraging exploration. Throughout the walk, Bunny will be guiding the group with some short activities. These activities could include finding rocks, pinecones, and different objects with different textures, such as something red, brown, soft, or rough. It’s a great way to help your child learn about the natural world around them!
