For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. At Heritage Park YMCA, we provide a quality early learning experience for children ages 6 weeks to 8 years old. Located in the heart of downtown Pawtucket, the facility has 20 spacious classrooms as well as indoor and outdoor play spaces. Our early learning center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. and is open most of the year, including during school year closures due to bad weather or professional days. Our center is licensed by the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth & Families and is approved by the American Camp Association. At Heritage Park YMCA, children have the opportunity to play and learn in a safe and stimulating environment. Our programs are designed to encourage children to learn at their own pace with the latest materials and activities. During school vacations, children are engaged in field trips and presentations that are connected to a weekly theme. During the summer months, a day camp program is available with activities that foster imagination and creativity.
