Once upon a time, in a state named OR, which stood for 'Optimally Rad', robots roamed the land. They weren't your average, run-of-the-mill robots, for OR was a special place. These robots were coded and programmed by the coolest bunch of kids you'd ever meet. They weren't just kids; they were tech wizards, pixel prodigies, coding conquerors. Let's call them the 'Code Cadets'. Now, these Code Cadets were as diverse as the lines of code they whipped up. Some were super sporty, others were bookworms, some loved to paint, while others played musical instruments with a flair. But when it came to the coding crunch, they all had one thing in common - an insatiable passion for programming. Every day, they'd meet at the state's gigantic tech hub, 'The Pixel Playground'. Here, they'd share ideas, solve problems, and together, shape the future of OR. Their leader was a charismatic character named 'Binary Bob'. Bob was a robot who wore red cowboy boots and loved to crack computer jokes. "Why don't programmers like to go outside?" he'd ask with a grin. "Because they're afraid of bugs!" The Code Cadets loved Binary Bob and his silly humor. They cherished their time at the Pixel Playground, where their ideas came alive, and every day was an adventure in the land of algorithms and arrays. And though they were just kids, they were coding the future, one line at a time, in the Optimally Rad state of OR.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
