They're as bendy as buckeye branches and as spry as speedy squirrels. The leader of this supernova crew is a character as cool as a cucumber, Captain Funky Footwork. He's not just a regular boy from Toledo. With his disco-ball helmet, shoes that tie themselves, and a heart as big as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he's a true icon in the Dance Dynamite's universe. Captain Funky Footwork and the Ohio Dance Dynamites are always ready to pop, lock, and drop it! They believe that each river in Ohio beats with a rhythmic flow and every cornfield rustles like a maraca. And so, they dance - in Dayton, in Cleveland, in Columbus, and even in the smallest of Ohio towns. Their dance is not just a regular two-step or a ballet pirouette, it’s a jumble of giggles, wiggles, and Ohio pride, that makes every adult wish they could swing their hips like a hula hoop too. That is why we've ensured that our facilities include a separate waiting area for parents, offering a space for you to relax while your child is busy exploring their creativity. Dance Dimensions was created in 1998 by Jen Naso Marinis. Since day one, Jen and her staff have built the foundation of the studio based on these simple principles: correct dance training, family, and self worth. The mission of the studio is to provide quality dance and performance education to all of our students. The staff is committed to giving every student a complete dance education for their level and enhancing their self-esteem and confidence. We are proud to be our students mentors and also teach them life long lessons. For many of our students, the studio is their second home and the staff and fellow dancers are their second family. The staff teaches in a disciplined and exciting environment that promotes the appreciation for the art of dance. The staff meets regularly to discuss students’ progress and placement to ensure that every dancer is in the correct class. Our staff is courteous and well informed to help every parent at any time with questions or concerns regarding their child. You will find that we are highly organized and promote a seamless experience for the dancer’s and their families. The staff at Dance Dimensions is the finest you will find in Northeast Ohio. Our teacher’s are highly qualified in their area of expertise and are not only accomplished dancers but even more importantly, accomplished dance educators.
