Deep into the hearty heartland of America, nestled in between the bustling cities and the peaceful countryside, lives the spectacular state of Ohio. It's not just known for its cornfields and captivating cosmos of stars that dance in the night sky, but also for a unique type of adventure that makes even the bravest adventurers' hearts skip a beat. Oh, and the kids? They are the true heroes of this story! Now, let me introduce you to our daring protagonist, Buzzy the Buckeye Beaver. Buzzy is no ordinary beaver, mind you. With his bright red fur that glows like the Ohio sunset and his powerful tail that can knock down a hundred acorns in one swoop, Buzzy is the embodiment of Ohio spirit! Buzzy and his gang of fearless friends are particularly fond of the Rope Course activity. Picture this: a labyrinth of ropes suspended high in the sky, zigzagging through the mighty Ohio trees. It's like a gigantic spider web, but made for kids instead of bugs! So, imagine Buzzy, with his helmet strapped on tight and his tiny gloves gripping the rope. His heart is pounding like a drum, but he’s got a twinkle in his eye. He takes a deep breath, leaps onto the first swaying step, and off he goes! He zigzags through the rope course, sometimes hanging upside down like a goofy bat, other times swinging wildly like a monkey. His friends cheer him on, their laughter echoing through the forest. Buzzy is having the time of his life, conquering the rope course with a beaver's bravado and a kid's delight. Yes, the Rope Course activity in Ohio isn’t for the faint-hearted. It's for brave kids and daring beavers who love a good adventure and aren't afraid of a little challenge. So my young reader, are you ready to join Buzzy and his gang in their thrilling Ohio Rope Course adventure?

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
At our facility, we recognize that each guest has their own unique goals for their visit, and our mission is to help them reach those goals. From helping each one to challenge themselves, to providing an environment where they can disconnect from the digital world and make new friends, we are committed to providing a memorable experience for each and every guest. We also value the importance of reconnecting with colleagues and building new relationships, and are dedicated to making sure that each visit is tailored to the individual needs of our guests.
