New York, a state as colorful and lively as a well-used paint palette, sparkles on the canvas of the United States. It's not just skyscrapers and hot dog stands - it has a heart full of nature, with green mountains and glittering lakes, where the deer and the chipmunks play hide and seek. And, the kids in New York, oh boy! They're artists with the spirit of Picasso and creativity of Van Gogh, and a dash of New York energy.

Right in the middle of all this hustle and bustle, you'll find a hoppity-skippity fellow named Doodle the Art Squirrel. Doodle, with his vibrant tail that changes colors like a chameleon, is the creative guide for our young New Yorker artists. Sporting a beret and a twirly mustache, he hops from tree to tree, rooftop to rooftop, carrying his bag of magic art supplies. 

He visits kids who love to dabble in art and crafts, helping them create masterpieces beyond their wildest dreams. He adds a touch of color here, a sprinkle of glitter there, and voila! Each craft is a unique creation. Doodle is also known for his comic antics that make every art session as fun as a roller coaster ride. He might accidentally dip his tail in the paint and end up creating an abstract art piece on the floor, or maybe he'll glue googly eyes on his beret without realizing. 

Oh, the laughter and the fun these New York kids have with Doodle! They play, they paint, they explore, and their imaginations run wilder than a New York minute. Their artwork is as vibrant and diverse as the state they live in - a splatter of colors and a splash of joy.

From climbing walls, swings, and zip lines to dedicated zones for pretend play and art, The Happy Hive offers both high-energy fun and creative outlets. While we cater to children ages 1-13 for neurotypical kids, we have no age limit when it comes to kids with special needs—because play should have no boundaries.

The hard work and dedication of Mel Northrop, Colin Caldwell, and Stephen Smith to start a summer Bible camp for children paid off in July 1952 when the first Camp Li-Lo-Li opened at Allegany State Park. Despite the fact that these three men had never run a camp before, their passion for the ministry inspired them to learn the ins and outs of running a camp and they succeeded in their mission. The camp was named by 11-year-old Betty Carol Northrop in a naming competition and stands for Life-Love-Light, all attributes of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Since 1955, families have trusted THE MOUNT TOM DIFFERENCE to create lasting memories and foster positive youth development. Each group is led by an experienced, professional educator who spends the entire camp day with your children. Campers have the opportunity to participate in over 50 developmentally appropriate activities, including sports, swimming, and arts and crafts. We strive to ensure all campers build positive relationships, take healthy risks, try new activities and increase self-esteem. Parents are welcomed to visit our amazing facility for an initial tour with one of our directors. Upon visiting, many parents are reminded of the true value of a great camp experience and the good feelings from their own childhood camp days. For over 60 years, Camp Cedarbrook has been a place of spiritual growth and adventure for girls. Sky Lake is one of five camp and retreat centers owned and operated by the Upper New York Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. This camp and retreat center is part of the Camp & Retreat Ministries. It is supervised by The Executive Director of Camp & Retreat Ministries and overseen by the Committee on Camp & Retreat Ministries. At Sky Lake, visitors are encouraged to grow in their relationship with God, be the body of Christ within the world, and live in accordance with the example of Jesus Christ. 

Sky Lake provides a unique and meaningful experience for visitors, providing them with engaging, equipping and empowering activities. Through these activities, visitors are encouraged to build relationships with their neighbors, especially those who have been disenfranchised by mainstream society. Since 1927, the JCC of Binghamton has been a vital part of the Broome County community. Located south of the University Plaza, the JCC is a dynamic institution, enriching the lives of all ages through its wide variety of services. The Rotary Clubs of District 7255 have long been dedicated to helping those with special needs. Through their tireless efforts, they established Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck, a 37-acre site on the shores of Kaler's Pond in Center Moriches, which has been providing a safe and fun environment for individuals with disabilities for more than 70 years. Campers are given the opportunity to participate in activities such as boating, arts and crafts, music, adaptive sports, swimming, campfires and more. 

Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is a testament to the dedication of the Rotary Clubs of District 7255 and the Pa-Qua-Tuck Squaws who have worked tirelessly to make this camp possible. Their generosity and support have enabled thousands of campers to experience the joys of summer in a safe and supportive environment.
