A funny, quirky character named Benny "Bulls-Eye" Brundlebop. Benny, with his comical headgear that somehow combined a baseball cap with an old-timey sheriff's hat, was just as likely to be found cracking jokes as he was to be demonstrating his archery prowess. The twinkle in his eye was as sharp as his arrows. Benny was the heart of NY's archery scene, leading his team of merry marksmen and markswomen through the concrete jungle and parks of NY. From the foothills of Adirondacks to the hustle and bustle of Times Square, these kids made NY their playground, with their bows and arrows never far away. Benny and the Arrow Avengers were heroes of a different kind. No dragons to slay or princesses to rescue, their mission was to keep the spirit of archery alive, spreading laughter, joy, and the thrill of hitting that perfect bulls-eye. Their laughter echoed off the NY skyline, as they traded jokes, challenged each other in friendly archery competitions, and occasionally, accidentally shot an apple off a hot dog stand. From massive fossilized dinosaur pieces to an entire section dedicated to Alice in Wonderland, and a fantastic collection of comic book art, there's plenty to ignite their imagination. The studio is well-equipped with all the necessary art supplies, spacious tables, and abundant natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We understand that comfort is essential for both kids and parents. That is why we've ensured that our facilities include a separate waiting area for parents, offering a space for you to relax while your child is busy exploring their creativity. For added convenience, there are also two restrooms on the premises and a picturesque outdoor sitting area where you can soak up the serene surroundings.
Camp Hilltop has been a part of the Hancock, New York community since 1924. This beautiful camp is situated on 600 acres of woodlands and fields, with a private lake, in the picturesque Catskill Mountains, just two and a half hours from New York City. This summer camp offers a variety of activities, including water skiing, wakeboarding, trapeze, hiking, horses, climbing tower, high ropes, and many sports, performing arts and arts and crafts. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing and non-competitive environment, with a four to one camper to counselor ratio, overseen by a mature, skilled and caring staff. Camp Hilltop is more than just a summer camp; it’s a place where children and young adults can find a friendly and fun community and explore the wondrous possibilities in their lives. Whether it be for two weeks or eight, we provide a safe and supportive environment that encourages campers to develop their skills, build relationships, and grow in confidence.
