These kids, you see, weren't just any ordinary children. No, sir! They somersaulted to school, cartwheeled through the cornfields, and pirouetted in the parks. Their idea of fun was spinning around on parallel bars or balancing on beams narrower than their school pencils! Gymnastics wasn't just an activity for them; it was a way of life. The Garden State had never seen a funnier, happier bunch of kids. They would often chuckle as they whizzed past the Jersey Devil, their laughter echoing through the Pine Barrens. Tracey Blake-Rossell has owned/operated Blake’s Gymnastic Training Academy for 30 years while coaching gymnastics for 40 years. She has competed in gymnastics since she was a little girl and achieved Level 10 Gymnast. She currently trains all beginners’ age 2 years through preschool, Team Levels 1 through 10, and all the Coaches. Blake’s Gymnastic program is successful because of the positive learning atmosphere, structured classes, and encouragement that is given to all the children. At Blake’s we realize each child learns at their own pace and we teach the individual child not the group. We will introduce the basics of gymnastics which will be built upon throughout the through the year. Classes are designed to enhance the child’s love for movement and excite them about fitness fun. Their sense of pride shines through as they start to improve on the skills they are being taught at each class.
