Their leader is a sprightly seahorse named Sheldon, who has the uncanny ability to speak 'Humanese'. Sheldon guides them through glittering kelp forests and past colorful coral cities, introducing them to all kinds of amazing sea creatures. Sometimes, they even stumble upon long-lost pirate treasure or forgotten mermaid kingdoms. But it's not all fun and fishy games. New Jersey's Scuba Squad kids also learn about the importance of keeping our oceans clean and safe. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
At Howell Township Police Athletic League, we believe in providing a safe and fun environment for children in our community to grow and learn. We are dedicated to fostering positive relationships between the youth and police officers to promote a safe and healthy environment for the entire community. Not only do we provide an engaging and safe outlet for children, but we also promote education and community service. We believe in helping children to reach their potential by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to do so. Additionally, through our programs, we help to build a strong bond between the youth and police officers to create a better community for all to live in.
