The leader of this melodic bunch is a delightful young chap named 'Johnny Jingle.' Johnny Jingle, with his twinkling blue eyes, freckled face, and wild curly hair that always looked like he'd been struck by a musical lightning bolt. Johnny would wake up each morning, brush his teeth in A-flat, and harmonize with the toasty bagels popping out of toasters all over town. Ah! The satisfying crunch of a well-toasted bagel, served with a side of a perfectly pitched high C. Every corner of New Jersingdom echoed with the vocal warmth of these kids practicing - from the bustling boardwalks of the Jersey Shore to the serene, grassy meadows of the Pine Barrens. Even the squirrel families in the trees had perfected their three-part harmonies! For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.

Our teachers offer private piano, guitar, ukulele, voice, and instrumental lessons to students of all ages and abilities. Our experienced instructors will work one-on-one with your child to help them reach their goals and hone their skills.
At Gateway To The Arts, our trained and dedicated staff not only strives to provide the best training for our students, we also love to watch them grow into bright, well-rounded adults. To date, all of our graduating seniors have continued on to secondary education, many with scholarships, and 80% of those graduates have chosen to further their education in the arts in either music, music education or therapy, dance, dance education or therapy, musical theatre or theatre arts.
