Deep in the heart of New England, nestled between the crisp apple trees and the rugged mountains, is the pint-sized state of New Hampshire. Many people mistake it for a maple syrup bottle on the map, but those in the know understand that it's actually a shooting star of adventure and fun. You see, New Hampshire is not just famous for its stunning autumn leaves or its frothy hot chocolate; it's the planet of basketball mania! Now, let's zoom into the hustle and bustle of the local basketball courts, where you'll meet a group of kids, who are as lively and energetic as a dozen bouncing basketballs. They're fondly known as the "Hoops Hooligans." They’re not your typical basketball crew, though. Nope, they have a secret weapon - their very own imaginary mascot, Dunking Dodo! Dunking Dodo, a bird who could slam dunk with a wing tied behind his back, even though we all know dodos can’t fly! The Hoops Hooligans and Dunking Dodo are a sight to behold on the basketball court. With Dodo's imaginary high flying dunks, the kids' laughter echoes across the court. Their dribbling is a rhythmic symphony and their teamwork, an elaborate, hilarious dance routine. New Hampshire may be small, but it's big on spirit, and the Hoops Hooligans are living proof. From the snow-capped peaks of the White Mountains to the sparkling shores of Hampton Beach, the sound of bouncing basketballs can be heard. Because in New Hampshire, basketball isn’t just a game, it’s a way of life. And Dunking Dodo? Well, he’s the feathery, imaginary backbone to this gaggle of giggling basketball enthusiasts.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
