New Hampshire, fondly nicknamed The Granite State, is like a landscape from a child's storybook. It sports majestic mountains with their heads in the clouds, whispering forests full of secret hideouts, and serene lakes as blue as a dragon's eyes. It's a place where squirrels chatter, eagles soar, and if you're lucky, you might just spot some mischievous gnomes hiding behind a boulder. 

In the heart of this magical land, there's a special breed of kids who engage in a thrilling activity known as the Rope Course. These young explorers are no ordinary children, oh no! They are the fearless "Rope Rangers," led by their charismatic captain, "Tanglefoot Tim," a character as quirky as his name! Tim, with his flaming red hair, freckles scattered like stars across his nose, and an ever-present twinkle in his eyes, is as funny as a ticklish troll.

Tanglefoot Tim and his daring Rope Rangers spend their days swinging from ropes high above the forest floor, laughing in the face of gravity. They zip through the treetops like giggling goblins, their laughter echoing through the woods and bouncing off the granite mountains. They climb, crawl, and occasionally stumble (especially Tim, who is surprisingly agile for someone with such tangly feet). But whether they're soaring like sky pixies or tangled up like spaghetti monsters, these kids always have a blast.

In New Hampshire, life is a grand adventure for the Rope Rangers. Under the watchful eye of Tanglefoot Tim, they conquer fears, discover new heights, and find laughter in every situation. It’s a place where the imagination runs as wild as the wilderness itself, and where childhood memories are carved out of granite.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Swift Nature Camp an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. 

 I’m Lonnie, the Camp Director, and I’m thrilled to share what makes SNC such a special place for kids and families alike. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to create an environment where children can grow, discover, and make lifelong memories. Here at camp, we focus on friendship, personal development, and a deep connection to nature—all in a fun, supportive, and adventurous setting. All this without cell phones
One of the things that sets Swift Nature Camp apart is our focus on fostering independence and confidence. Whether it’s trying a new activity like canoeing, taking on a leadership role in a group project, or simply navigating life away from home, camp provides endless opportunities for personal growth. We celebrate each camper’s unique personality and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and nurturing way. Seeing kids gain new skills and pride in their accomplishments is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

For our youngest campers, Discovery Camp is an especially magical experience. Designed only for first-time campers ages 6-12, this shorter program gives kids a chance to experience the joys of camp life in a way that’s just right for them. It’s amazing to watch these kids try new things—from learning about the natural world to singing campfire songs—and leave camp with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell. Discovery Camp is often the beginning of a long and cherished relationship with SNC, and we’re so proud to see those first-time campers grow into confident and capable young people.

Another cornerstone of Swift Nature Camp is our connection to the environment. We believe that nature isn’t just a backdrop for camp; it’s a teacher, a playground, and a source of endless wonder. Through hands-on activities like pond studies, wildlife observation, and outdoor adventures, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world that stays with them long after camp ends. The Camp Zoo is always a favorite, campers can even adopt a pet while at camp.Our goal is to inspire kids to become curious, mindful stewards of the environment.

At Swift Nature Camp, there’s never a dull day! With hundreds of land and water activities, campers are always engaged and excited. On land, some favorites include the Lego Cabin, Arts & Crafts, Archery, and exploring the Nature Center. On the water, campers learn Canoeing, Fishing, and Swimming, but the absolute favorites are Tubing behind the boat and jumping off the Water Trampoline. Never is there a dull day because every day is packed with fun, adventure, and opportunities to try something new.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing friendships that form here. SNC is a place where kids truly feel like they belong. Campers and counselors alike bring warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm to everything we do, creating a strong sense of community. Whether it’s cheering each other on during a game, collaborating on a creative project, or sharing laughs around the campfire, the bonds formed at Swift Nature Camp are something truly special.

At Camp Robindel, we have been offering an exciting summer camp experience for girls since 1951. Nestled on Lake Winnipesaukee in the beautiful state of New Hampshire, we are proud to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our campers and staff. We strive to create an atmosphere of growth and camaraderie, where every member of our camp family is valued and appreciated. 

We offer a wide range of athletic activities, while emphasizing the importance of teaching campers how to use their skills and gain self-confidence. We believe that the best way for girls to learn is through healthy competition and the ability to challenge themselves. We also focus on building lasting relationships, and our campers and staff look forward to creating lasting memories at our picturesque camp. We are proud of the generations of young women who have made Robindel their summer home.

For nearly a century, the William Lawrence Camp has been providing youth with healthy outdoor recreational opportunities. Founded in the early 1900s, the camp was named after William Lawrence, an early advocate of camping. For many years, the camp had a strong relationship with the Episcopal Church. Families often learned of the camp through their local parishes, and during the summer, visiting clergy offered Sunday services in the outdoor chapel. 

Through the years, the camp has continued to promote the importance of shared values and ideals. In the late sixties, the camp ended its association with the church, but has continued to embrace this same core philosophy. 

Today, the William Lawrence Camp offers a variety of activities and is a place for youth to have fun and form lasting memories. It is a testament to William Lawrence’s commitment to providing healthy opportunities for young people and his belief in the importance of commonly shared values and ideals.

At Camp Nokomis for Girls, your daughter will make friends that will last a lifetime. With forty acres of property including wooded areas, playing fields, a craft shop, and two beaches, she’ll be able to reconnect with nature and develop her self-confidence. Our program is designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each camper, while teaching them independence, resilience, and creative expression. With a staff of 60 counselors, your daughter will be in a safe and nurturing environment, where she can learn to appreciate the differences in herself and her peers.

At Waukeela, we understand the importance of the camp experience in the overall development of young women. Our staff is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment in which campers can explore their potential, make lifelong friendships, and gain the confidence to take on new challenges.

We have been cultivating confidence in girls since 1922. Waukeela Camp for Girls provides a unique opportunity for girls to build self-assurance and friendship. Our program allows campers to choose from a variety of activities, including swimming, theater, pottery, and sports. In a safe and supportive atmosphere, campers can explore and develop their talents, build character, and gain the confidence to take on new challenges. Our experienced staff are dedicated to helping each girl reach her full potential while having fun and making lifelong friendships. For over a century, Camp Belknap has been providing boys aged 8-16 with an unforgettable residential summer camp experience near Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Founded in 1903, Camp Belknap has withstood the test of time, and today continues to thrive on the shore of Lake Winnipesaukee. 

Camp Belknap’s leadership program is tailored to the needs of each camper, instilling values such as “God first, the other fellow second, and myself last.” Its timeless mission is to make good boys better, helped by the camp’s unique blend of place, tradition, and purpose.

Wanakee is a traditional Christian summer camp and year-round retreat center, owned and operated by the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church. This camp is all about building strong relationships and a supportive community that encourages radical acceptance. The name Wanakee, which means “beautiful spiritual place in the hills” in a Native American language, was chosen by Harold E. Perkins. He was a student in religious education and theology at Boston University and the first chairperson of the New Hampshire Conference Camp and Conference Committee.

At Wanakee, the staff strive to make sure each camper and retreater experiences a safe and nurturing environment. They recognize the need for children and adults to grow in their faith and explore their own spiritual journey. With activities ranging from canoeing and fishing to crafts and nature hikes, there is something for everyone.

The yearly and seasonal retreats at Wanakee provide a much needed respite from the stressors of everyday life. Participants get to take some time for themselves and focus on self-care. There are plenty of activities to keep everyone engaged, from meditation and yoga to art classes and bird watching.
