Nestled amidst the mighty mountains and serene lakes, the adventurous state of New Hampshire is a gem that sparkles in the crown of New England. Here, the whispering pines seem to beckon the wild-hearted kids who dwell in its enchanting towns to partake in a thrilling sport - Archery!

In the quaint hamlets of NH, archery isn't just a hobby, it's a way of life. The kids of New Hampshire, or the "Arrow Avengers" as they like to call themselves, are a peculiar band of mini-robin hoods, armed with bows and arrows, brimming with boundless energy and fearless spirit. 

Now, let me introduce you to the coolest kid and the rowdy leader of this merry band - Chuckles McQuiver. One would expect a character named Chuckles to be funny, and oh boy, he doesn't disappoint! His hair, a jumbled mess of brown curls, stands up like he's forever being surprised, and his grin is as crooked as a boomerang.

Chuckles has a unique style of archery that becomes an instant comedy show. Imagine him standing on one leg, eyes closed, tongue out, and then "whoosh", he releases the arrow that miraculously finds its target every single time. And there he stands, arms crossed, the triumphant smirk on his face suggesting that he had planned the shot to the T. 

The spectators, the chirpy crickets, and the occasional moose roar with laughter at the spectacle, adding to the lively ambiance of everyday New Hampshire life. This is the whimsical world of archery in NH, where aiming for laughter is as important as aiming for the bullseye.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Swift Nature Camp an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. 

 I’m Lonnie, the Camp Director, and I’m thrilled to share what makes SNC such a special place for kids and families alike. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to create an environment where children can grow, discover, and make lifelong memories. Here at camp, we focus on friendship, personal development, and a deep connection to nature—all in a fun, supportive, and adventurous setting. All this without cell phones
One of the things that sets Swift Nature Camp apart is our focus on fostering independence and confidence. Whether it’s trying a new activity like canoeing, taking on a leadership role in a group project, or simply navigating life away from home, camp provides endless opportunities for personal growth. We celebrate each camper’s unique personality and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and nurturing way. Seeing kids gain new skills and pride in their accomplishments is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

For our youngest campers, Discovery Camp is an especially magical experience. Designed only for first-time campers ages 6-12, this shorter program gives kids a chance to experience the joys of camp life in a way that’s just right for them. It’s amazing to watch these kids try new things—from learning about the natural world to singing campfire songs—and leave camp with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell. Discovery Camp is often the beginning of a long and cherished relationship with SNC, and we’re so proud to see those first-time campers grow into confident and capable young people.

Another cornerstone of Swift Nature Camp is our connection to the environment. We believe that nature isn’t just a backdrop for camp; it’s a teacher, a playground, and a source of endless wonder. Through hands-on activities like pond studies, wildlife observation, and outdoor adventures, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world that stays with them long after camp ends. The Camp Zoo is always a favorite, campers can even adopt a pet while at camp.Our goal is to inspire kids to become curious, mindful stewards of the environment.

At Swift Nature Camp, there’s never a dull day! With hundreds of land and water activities, campers are always engaged and excited. On land, some favorites include the Lego Cabin, Arts & Crafts, Archery, and exploring the Nature Center. On the water, campers learn Canoeing, Fishing, and Swimming, but the absolute favorites are Tubing behind the boat and jumping off the Water Trampoline. Never is there a dull day because every day is packed with fun, adventure, and opportunities to try something new.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing friendships that form here. SNC is a place where kids truly feel like they belong. Campers and counselors alike bring warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm to everything we do, creating a strong sense of community. Whether it’s cheering each other on during a game, collaborating on a creative project, or sharing laughs around the campfire, the bonds formed at Swift Nature Camp are something truly special.

Swift Nature Camp

At Kabeyun, we provide an environment that encourages boys to push themselves to their individual limits and discover their unique potential. Our summer campers are offered opportunities to explore and develop new skills, while growing and living in a real community. Our traditional New England offerings, such as archery, fishing, and sailing, are supplemented with more recent outdoor activities, like wakeboarding, white water kayaking, and windsurfing. Boys can also play sports on the tennis, badminton, and basketball courts or join in an evening pick-up game of soccer or frisbee. The boys receive guidance from experienced counselors, many of whom grew up at Kabeyun and now return as adults to share the values they were taught during their own best summers.

At Camp Robindel, we have been offering an exciting summer camp experience for girls since 1951. Nestled on Lake Winnipesaukee in the beautiful state of New Hampshire, we are proud to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our campers and staff. We strive to create an atmosphere of growth and camaraderie, where every member of our camp family is valued and appreciated. 

We offer a wide range of athletic activities, while emphasizing the importance of teaching campers how to use their skills and gain self-confidence. For nearly a century, the William Lawrence Camp has been providing youth with healthy outdoor recreational opportunities. Founded in the early 1900s, the camp was named after William Lawrence, an early advocate of camping. For many years, the camp had a strong relationship with the Episcopal Church. Families often learned of the camp through their local parishes, and during the summer, visiting clergy offered Sunday services in the outdoor chapel. 

Through the years, the camp has continued to promote the importance of shared values and ideals. In the late sixties, the camp ended its association with the church, but has continued to embrace this same core philosophy. 

Today, the William Lawrence Camp offers a variety of activities and is a place for youth to have fun and form lasting memories. It is a testament to William Lawrence’s commitment to providing healthy opportunities for young people and his belief in the importance of commonly shared values and ideals.

Our camp is perfect for boys and girls ages 7 to 17 to explore and grow in their faith. We help create an atmosphere of fun and spiritual growth as kids explore the many acres of lakefront property. For over 85 years, Tohkomeupog has been dedicated to providing outstanding outdoor experiences to boys ages 8 to 15. From fishing and boating to archery and sports, your son will be encouraged to explore and develop his skills in a safe and supportive environment. Young Judaea is an inspiring peer-led Zionist youth movement that is dedicated to providing a variety of programs for Jewish youth in grades 2-12 throughout the United States. Founded in 1909, it is the oldest Zionist youth movement in the United States and its Hebrew name Yehuda Hatzair (יהודה הצעיר) or Hashachar (השחר), meaning “the dawn”. 

Young Judaea has 15 regions throughout the United States and is affiliated with the Federation of Zionist Youth (United Kingdom) and Tzofim (Israel). Programs are tailored to the different age levels, including Ofarim (Hebrew for “fawns,” grades 2-5), Tsofim (“scouts,” grades 6-7), and Bogrim (“elders,” grades 8-12). 

For older students, college programs focus on volunteering and interning in Israel, as well as Birthright trips. Young Judaea’s university arm was formerly called HaMagshimim, meaning “the fulfillers”. Through these programs, Young Judaea strives to encourage and inspire Jewish youth to get involved, learn, and grow in their Jewish identity.
