High above the majestic mountains of New Hampshire, where the maple trees sway in rhythm with the whispering breeze and the sapphire lakes sparkle like the eyes of a mischievous raccoon, a peculiar and whimsical creature named Yogi Yeti can be spotted practicing his morning sun salutations. Yogi Yeti, with his snow-white fur as soft as marshmallows and a belly button that glows like a firefly, was no ordinary Yeti; he was the Grand Master of Yeti Yoga. Now, you might wonder, "Do Yetis even do Yoga?" Well, in New Hampshire they do, and they're quite fantastic at it! Every sunrise, Yogi Yeti would amble down from his cozy cave and, with a hearty laugh that would boomerang off the mountains, summon the children of New Hampshire for a fun-filled session of yoga. From the tiny town of Pittsburg to the bustling city of Manchester, kids would flock, wielding their colorful yoga mats like superhero capes. These children were as diverse as the leaves in autumn but shared a common love for yoga and Yogi Yeti. Be it the flexi-Lexi from Littleton who could twist and turn like a pretzel or the serene Max from Salem who could meditate even amidst a squirrel's scandalous chatter, each child added their flavor to the Yoga gang. The magic of New Hampshire wasn't just in its enchanting landscapes or sweet syrup but within these children – brave, buoyant, and bendy – who embraced the day with a stretch, a giggle, and a hearty "Namaste". Their infectious laughter would echo across the valleys, painting smiles on the faces of the sun, the trees, and of course, our beloved Yogi Yeti. Together, they were the radiant, rollicking, and slightly ridiculous Yoga Squad of New Hampshire, stretching their bodies and imaginations under the watchful eyes of their furry, belly-glowing Guru.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.

Braids & Beard offers something that goes beyond traditional activities, and is the perfect way for families to have fun and learn something new together. Their energetic programs combine physical activities with educational opportunities, making them unique and upbeat. Unfortunately, with the pandemic, Braids & Beard is currently on pause. However, I am looking forward to a time when we can all get together to dance, sing, and learn in the near future.
