Young Judaea is an inspiring peer-led Zionist youth movement that is dedicated to providing a variety of programs for Jewish youth in grades 2-12 throughout the United States. Founded in 1909, it is the oldest Zionist youth movement in the United States and its Hebrew name Yehuda Hatzair (יהודה הצעיר) or Hashachar (השחר), meaning “the dawn”. Young Judaea has 15 regions throughout the United States and is affiliated with the Federation of Zionist Youth (United Kingdom) and Tzofim (Israel). Programs are tailored to the different age levels, including Ofarim (Hebrew for “fawns,” grades 2-5), Tsofim (“scouts,” grades 6-7), and Bogrim (“elders,” grades 8-12). For older students, college programs focus on volunteering and interning in Israel, as well as Birthright trips. Young Judaea’s university arm was formerly called HaMagshimim, meaning “the fulfillers”. Through these programs, Young Judaea strives to encourage and inspire Jewish youth to get involved, learn, and grow in their Jewish identity.
At Gymnastics Village, located in Amherst, New Hampshire, we offer gymnastics instruction for boys and girls ages 18 months through teen. Our professionally designed programs provide children with the opportunity to strengthen and hone their physical skills while developing flexibility, coordination, and a positive self-image. Beginning with the basics of movement, our programs are designed to cater to each child's individual skill level and help them progress to the highest levels of gymnastics training.
