They'd wear their funky leotards and tie their shoelaces with the precision of a surgeon (it's not as easy as it sounds, I promise!). Their leader, a funny, big-belly gnome named Jiggly Jamboree - or Jiggy Jam, as the kids fondly called him - would appear with a twirl and a jingle, his pointy hat flopping comically. His cheeks were as red as the ripest New Hampshire apples, and his laugh was as infectious as a catchy dance tune. Jiggy Jam had a peculiar way of teaching these Dazzlers. Young Judaea is an inspiring peer-led Zionist youth movement that is dedicated to providing a variety of programs for Jewish youth in grades 2-12 throughout the United States. Founded in 1909, it is the oldest Zionist youth movement in the United States and its Hebrew name Yehuda Hatzair (יהודה הצעיר) or Hashachar (השחר), meaning “the dawn”. Young Judaea has 15 regions throughout the United States and is affiliated with the Federation of Zionist Youth (United Kingdom) and Tzofim (Israel). Programs are tailored to the different age levels, including Ofarim (Hebrew for “fawns,” grades 2-5), Tsofim (“scouts,” grades 6-7), and Bogrim (“elders,” grades 8-12). For older students, college programs focus on volunteering and interning in Israel, as well as Birthright trips. Young Judaea’s university arm was formerly called HaMagshimim, meaning “the fulfillers”. Through these programs, Young Judaea strives to encourage and inspire Jewish youth to get involved, learn, and grow in their Jewish identity.

Our professionally designed programs provide children with the opportunity to strengthen and hone their physical skills while developing flexibility, coordination, and a positive self-image. Beginning with the basics of movement, our programs are designed to cater to each child's individual skill level and help them progress to the highest levels of gymnastics training.
