In the heartland of America, where cornfields stretch for miles beneath the vast sky, there lies a state known as Nebraska, or NE for short. A place where cattle outnumber people, and American football is considered akin to a religion. But, there's something else popping up among the prairies and the Platte River, which is nothing short of magical. Welcome to the world of Nebraska's coding kids; a bustling brigade of bright and brilliant young minds ready to take on the digital world! These aren't your average kids, oh no! They're like super cool, techno-wizards, mastering the coding magic on their keyboards, creating enchanting worlds with lines of code rather than strokes of a paintbrush. Their mascot? A whimsical creature named Pixel the Prairie-dog. Now, Pixel isn’t your ordinary prairie dog. No, sir. He’s a coding genius who left his burrow to conquer the world of technology. With a pair of thick glasses perched on his nose, a digital watch wrapped around his furry wrist, and a laptop always at his disposal, Pixel is the epitome of geek-chic. These young coding wizards, armed with their superpower of programming, are transforming Nebraska, one line of code at a time. They're not just building video games or apps but they're solving real-world problems, proving that age is no barrier when it comes to innovation. They laugh in the face of coding errors and dance around debugging challenges, always eager for the next thrilling adventure in the world of programming. So, the next time you think of Nebraska, remember, it's not just about cornfields and cattle. It's also the home of Pixel the Prairie-dog and his coding kids, who are shaping the digital frontier with their magical coding skills.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
