Camp Needles in the Pines is an incredible opportunity for children with type 1 diabetes ages 8 to 14 years old. Located in Eastern North Carolina, this residential camp offers a variety of activities that are sure to create lasting memories. Campers can try their hand at all sorts of activities such as swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, archery, crafts, and even rifle range and tenting. The camp also provides an excellent environment for children to improve their self-help skills and build lasting relationships. Additionally, children 15-18 years old may attend as CIT’s.
