These kids have dance sessions in the coziest corners of NC - from the sun-dappled decks of Kitty Hawk to the misty mountains of Asheville. We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Fuquay-Varina Arts Center on March 18, 2019! This has been a long-held dream for our community, and now it's a reality! The facility is truly a work of art, designed by Szostak Design, Inc. and exuding creativity. On the first floor, you'll find an art gallery, administrative offices, dance, painting and digital studios, and four classrooms for a variety of visual and performing arts classes. On the second floor, there is a 294-seat theatre, complete with technical booth and performance support spaces. The Arts Center takes its role as a downtown destination seriously and will be offering a wide variety of visual and performing arts classes, as well as changing art in the Gallery regularly and hosting live theatre from community and professional troupes, concerts, recitals, and movies in the theatre.
