Our main character is Fizzle McWizzle, a 12-year-old with freckles and a gap-toothed grin. He can create anything, from a majestic glass unicorn to a delicate glass butterfly, so delicate that you'd think it might flutter away. Fizzle and his fellow glass-working wizards are the coolest kids in NC. They handle scorching heat, molten glass, and glaring lights, all for the thrill of creating something beautiful. When they aren't turning glass into art, they are outside, playing tag amongst the loblolly pines or fishing in the Cape Fear River, their laughter echoing across the state. Beware, dear readers!
