For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.

Our convenient location in the Triangle makes it easy for families from Raleigh, Cary, Durham, Chapel Hill, and Carrboro to join in the fun. At Woodcroft Swim and Tennis Club, we are proud to offer one of the Triangle's premier tennis programs - Durham Tennis Academy (DTA). DTA runs clinics for players of all skill levels and ages, including private lessons and Junior League Play. We have also embraced the R(red)O(orange)G(Green) program, which uses softer, lighter tennis balls to make learning more enjoyable. Carrie Goldbeck, founder and instructor of Goldbeck's Martial Arts, is a shining example of the importance of self-discipline, self-control, and self-confidence. With a background that began in 1994 in Rocky Mount, NC, she is passionate about promoting these values in a fun and nurturing environment. Carrie first experienced national competition with James Dozier's Kicking for Christ competition team, and gained invaluable insight into the importance of commitment, discipline, and attitude. Her travels across the east coast have given her the opportunity to pass on these lessons to her students. At Goldbeck's Martial Arts, Carrie motivates her students to take ownership of their own progress, and strives to create an atmosphere of positivity and achievement. She is dedicated to teaching the importance of self-discipline, self-control, and self-confidence in a way that is both fun and rewarding.

Durham Parks and Recreation (DPR) is dedicated to helping Durham community members stay healthy and active.
