With their backpacks filled with secret maps, snacks, and a thirst for adventure, they set off every weekend to discover the unknown. Leading these band of Munchkins is none other than the infamous Captain Snuffle-Gizzards, a mischievous squirrel with a fluffy tail bigger than himself. He carries an acorn-shaped compass and chatters in an amusing squirrel language, only understood by the Munchkins. Under his fun-filled guidance, every hike transforms into a thrilling quest. Each kid in the Mountain Munchkins club is as unique as Mississippi itself. There's Lizzie "Lizard" Lee, who can climb any tree in the blink of an eye; Benny "Bass" Briggs, who can catch fish with his bare hands, and the list goes on. They are as wild and free as the Mississippi River, with hearts filled with an insatiable curiosity. Their hikes are filled with hilarious incidents. Like the time Benny Bass slipped on a banana peel and slid down the hill, only to land in a blueberry bush, or the time when Captain Snuffle-Gizzards sneezed so loud that it scared away a flock of birds, raining down feathers all over them.
