Once upon a time in the whimsical, enchanting, and always unpredictable state of Minnesota, a group of vibrant and peppy kids embarked on a splendid adventure. You see, Minnesota is a magical land, best known for its numerous sparkling lakes, friendly folks and, of course, unbearably cold winters. Yet, even in the coldest of times, the warmth of Minnesotan hearts could melt even the frostiest snowman. This group of kids was known as the Mini-Sota Chefs, a motley crew of culinary wizards not taller than a stack of pancakes. Each one of them had a special ingredient that they held dear. For Tommy Tomato, it was his juicy, sun-kissed tomatoes. Silly Sally Salt had her shimmering sea salt, while Benny Butter wouldn't go anywhere without his creamy, melt-in-your-mouth butter. They gathered every winter in the heart of Minnesota, right in the middle of the biggest icicle you could ever imagine, where they would cook up a storm. They created dishes that could make a walrus wiggle, a moose moo with delight, and a beaver believe he was in heaven! Their laughter echoed across the frosty fields, as they cooked, tasted, and sipped on their hot cocoa, their cheeks as red as Tommy's tomatoes. No matter how cold it got, their spirits were never dampened. Their cooking adventures didn't just warm their tummies; they filled their hearts with joy and their minds with the magic of creativity. Guiding them on their culinary journey was Chef Muffin Moose, a large, goofy moose with a chef's hat askew on his antlers. Despite his giant size and clumsy hooves, Chef Muffin Moose was a maestro in the kitchen and the best mentor any Mini-Sota Chef could ask for. And so, the culinary adventures of the Mini-Sota Chefs, led by Chef Muffin Moose, became legendary in the magical lands of Minnesota.

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
Camp Victory is a welcoming place for adults, too! We offer retreats for church, youth, and family ministries, as well as corporate retreats. Our facilities provide a peaceful and beautiful environment for any group looking for a place to grow together. We also offer individual retreats and outdoor experiences for any purpose. Our staff are passionate about creating an atmosphere where relationships are nurtured and faith can grow. Whether you are a camper, a retreat group, or an individual, Camp Victory is the perfect place to be!
