With his magical, illuminated scales, he could transform each reading session into a mesmerizing spectacle. When he’d read, his scales would shimmer and sparkle, creating a magical glow that danced around the room, painting the walls with stories. These Michigan kids, like Squiggles, are no ordinary children. They are daring explorers, navigating through the jungles of Jumanji, aspiring wizards casting spells with Harry Potter, and brave hobbits journeying through Middle Earth, all within the comfy confines of their beloved local library or their secret reading nooks at home. Despite having the ability to breathe fire, Squiggles never, ever used it. Why, you ask? Well, he found it far more exciting to ignite the fire of imagination in the young readers' minds. His hilarious mimicry of characters was so infectious that even the grumpiest of grandpas couldn’t help but chuckle. ALLE Fencing Club specializes in saber fencing and welcomes students from beginners discovering the sport for the first time to experienced young athletes preparing for regional and national competitions. Youth beginner classes introduce children ages 6–12 to the fundamentals of fencing, including saber handling, footwork, distance control, fencing etiquette, sportsmanship, coordination, focus, and basic rules. Junior programs are available for ages 12+ and help students progress toward competitive fencing. With experienced coaches and a supportive training environment, students develop both physical and mental skills while learning a sport that challenges them to think quickly, move confidently, and make strategic decisions. Advanced and Elite programs provide additional training for experienced fencers interested in tournaments and high-level competition.
