Once upon a time, in the fantastic land of Massachusetts, where autumn leaves crunched underfoot and snowflakes floated down like sprinkles on a donut, a group of children participated in a magical activity called YOGA. These weren't your everyday kinds of kids; they were the bendy, twisty, tranquil warriors of the Bay State! They lived in towns with funny names like 'Belchertown’, 'Sandwich', and 'Woburn,' and spent their days mastering the art of Yoga. They could stretch like the sturdy oak trees that lined the Freedom Trail and balance like the historic tea ships docked in Boston Harbor. They could stand as still as Plymouth Rock and flow as gracefully as the Charles River. And, they were led by a whimsical character named Sir Yogi-Beansprout. Sir Yogi-Beansprout was a funny little fellow. He was as tall as a stack of five apple cider donuts, had hair as wild as a Nor'easter, and sported wide yoga pants that fluttered like the wings of the state bird, the Black-Capped Chickadee. He wasn't just their instructor, but also their guide to the magical Yoga land, a place where giggles echoed and pretzel-twists ruled. "If you can't touch your toes," Sir Yogi-Beansprout would say, "then let your toes touch you!" He would then roll into a laughter ball, bouncing around the room like a beach ball at Fenway Park. From Cape Cod to the Berkshires, the kids of Massachusetts loved their Yoga adventures. They were happier, calmer, and of course, bendier than ever before. All thanks to the magical blend of Massachusetts, yoga, and the bouncy, funny, twisty Sir Yogi-Beansprout!

Marjory holds an MS in Dance/Movement Therapy from Hunter College and is a Certified Laban Movement Analyst (CMA) and a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT). Her experience with children of all ages is extensive and includes teaching movement, dance, yoga, acting, and art, working as a dance therapist at special needs preschools and on an acute child/adolescent psychiatric unit, and performing for children with a professional educational theatre troupe. Marjory is dedicated to providing creative and fun learning experiences that foster connection and creativity. She has designed and run programs, classes, events, and professional development workshops for schools, libraries, parties, private and corporate groups, non-profits, families, and children with special needs. She is especially fond of working with inter-generational groups and bringing her programs wherever people want to connect, create, and play. Marjory's educational background in dance/movement therapy and her experience working with children of all ages, from teaching movement to performing, make her well-suited to provide engaging and creative learning experiences. With her programs and workshops, she strives to foster connection and creativity and bring joy and fun into people's lives.
