Leading the pack is our hero, the Karate Kangaroo, Kiko. Kiko, with his marsupial moves and black belt in belly laughs, is the heart and soul of the Mighty-Mass dojo. He hops around in his red bandana, teaching the kids the art of the ‘Kangaroo Kick’ and the secret of the ‘Pouch Punch’. With Kiko, every karate lesson is a belly-busting adventure. You'll find the Karate Cuties rolling on the floor, not from Kiko's kicks, but from fits of laughter. But don't let those giggles fool you. When it’s time to get serious, these kids transform into mini karate masters, their faces focused, their moves swift and precise. Our classes emphasize the development of character traits such as respect, focus, and self-defense. Through our classes, students gain flexibility, strength, and confidence. We provide classes for adults, kids (4 and up), and even family classes where adults and kids can learn together. We even offer an After-School Program licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEC and American Tang Soo Do Associate (ATA) that provides students with leadership, education, and mindfulness training.
