Marvin is a cheeky, fish-tailed prankster, with a belly full of laughs and a head full of crazy swimming tricks. His favorite hideout is the picturesque Cape Cod beaches, where he teaches the local kids how to dog-paddle like dolphins, backstroke like otters, and freestyle like flying fish! When Marvin's not busy turning kids into aquatic athletes, he loves telling hilarious tales about his adventures through the Boston Harbor, or the time he outswam a speedy sailfish in the Charles River. On a warm, sunny day, you might catch a glimpse of him sliding down the Berkshire hills, using a giant clam as a sled, because for Marvin, the entire state of MA is his whimsical water park! That is why we've ensured that our facilities include a separate waiting area for parents, offering a space for you to relax while your child is busy exploring their creativity. Our camp covers 170 acres of beautiful land and offers over 50 activities for campers to choose from. These include watersports, swimming in our heated pool, athletics, science, art, theater, wilderness, cooking, and more! Our campers are incredibly kind, smart, creative, and responsible; they make great friends with each other and appreciate the safe environment we provide. Our staff of 100 professionals is ready to share their passions and help campers learn new things. We are especially proud of our ability to handle food allergies; Sue Lein, owner and camp director, is allergic to eggs and made it her mission to ensure that all children can eat safely and freely. Our experienced and knowledgeable camp staff will lead each athlete through a comprehensive and challenging training program tailored to his or her individual needs. The program will also include small group sessions to discuss the components of being a successful runner. In addition, there will be team-building adventure activities each day to unlock the leadership potential of each runner. This unique combination of training and team building creates a truly unique experience, one that will help the athletes to become better runners, teammates, and young men and women.
