With a spyglass for an eye and a compass for a heart, Captain Kidd-z is an adventurous spirit who loves nothing more than guiding his gang across the glittering waters of MA. He is famous for his cheeky grin that's rumored to shine brighter than the famous Cape Cod lighthouse. His laughter, infectious as a sea shanty, fills the sails of the "Salty Mariners," guiding them through their voyages. Every day, these kids hoist their sails, defying the mighty winds and joyfully conquering waves taller than a grown-up's head. For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.
Gloucester Adventure, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the preservation and education of maritime history. The 1926 dory-fishing Schooner Adventure, a National Historic Landmark, is in their care. The Schooner Adventure serves as a reminder of the American fisheries and is a living monument to Massachusetts’ fishing heritage with active sailing primarily along the New England coast. This organization is deeply committed to the restoration and preservation of the Schooner Adventure in perpetuity and has plans to use the Schooner as a floating classroom to promote maritime history and environmental education programs. These efforts will benefit both Gloucester and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and will ensure the Schooner Adventure is an icon of American fisheries for generations to come.
