The leader of the "Page Turners" was a cool, oversized bookworm named Bookzilla. Bookzilla wore retro glasses and an Indiana Jones-style hat, and he had an infectious giggle that made everyone around him chuckle. He was known to sometimes mispronounce big, bookish words, like 'onomatopoeia' or 'hyperbole,' which would send the kids into fits of laughter. At the Dover Extended Day Program, we strive to create a warm and stimulating after-school environment for students in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. Each day, from Monday to Friday (or Wednesday after Early Release days) from 2:15PM to 6:00PM, our experienced staff provide a variety of activities such as outdoor and gym games, drama, clubs, science, arts and crafts, computer and homework time. We give parents the flexibility of choosing between two pickup times at 5:15PM and 6:00PM. Our nurturing and supportive atmosphere allows children to learn, explore and have fun in a safe and secure environment. We provide the perfect balance of education, recreation and relaxation, giving them the opportunity to grow and thrive. The Dover Extended Day Program is committed to providing a stimulating and enjoyable after-school experience for children in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. With experienced staff, a variety of activities, and two convenient pickup times, we offer a safe and secure environment for kids to explore, learn and have fun.
