These pint-sized explorers are as brave as they are curious, lacing up their hiking boots to discover the enchanted forests, shimmering lakes, and towering mountains that make up their magical playground. Massachusetts, with its four distinct seasons, offers an ever-changing backdrop for their adventures. During the autumn months, the trees explode into a riot of reds, oranges, and yellows, making the forests look like they've been kissed by a rainbow. In winter, the landscapes transform into a snowy wonderland, perfect for making snow angels or having epic snowball fights. Spring brings a carpet of wildflowers, and summer means it's time to dip toes into the cool lakes. Now, these Mighty Mass Hikers aren't like regular kids. No, sir! Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats.
