For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. The Berkley Athletic Association (BAA) is a non-profit, volunteer organization that has been serving the youth of Berkley for over 50 years. Founded in 1969, the BAA was created by a group of parents who recognized the need for additional sports programs in their community. With their commitment to providing youth sports opportunities, they set out to provide the town's youth with the best possible experiences. The BAA is dedicated to helping children grow and develop through sports and recreation. They offer a variety of programs, from baseball and basketball to track and field, as well as other recreational activities. The organization is staffed entirely by volunteers, and all funds go directly to providing youth programs.
