Once upon a time, in the magical land of Massachusetts, affectionately known as MA to the locals, a bunch of sprightly and spry kids had a fantastic obsession. They had an unquenchable thirst for the noble and exhilarating game of...Mini golf!

Yes, Indeed, Mini golf! Now, you might ask, "What's so exciting about Mini golf?" Oh, my dear friend, Mini golf in MA is not your ordinary run-of-the-mill game. It is the ultimate test of skill, precision, and wit, where only the bravest of the brave dare to pick up a mini golf club. 

MA is not just a place known for its clam chowder or historical landmarks, oh no! It's also renowned for its enchanting mini golf courses. Each one a labyrinth of surprises, filled with tricky windmills, sneaky slopes, and mischievous gnomes, who love nothing more than stealing golf balls when no one's looking.

Now, let's talk about the mini golf warriors, the kids! There's clever Cartwheeling Casey, who could hit a hole in one while performing a graceful cartwheel, and then there's the mighty Mighty Mike, who could putt a ball clear across the Mystic River, if he ever got the chance. And let's not forget about Whistling Wendy, whose tremendous tee-off whistle could be heard all the way to Cape Cod. 

These kids, with their colorful clubs and never-ending energy, took the mini golf courses of MA by storm. Whether it was a sunny summer day or a chilly winter afternoon, you could always find them battling gnomes, dodging windmills, and sinking golf balls into the most elusive holes. What an adventure it was to be a mini golfer in MA!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Swift Nature Camp an overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-15 located in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. 

 I’m Lonnie, the Camp Director, and I’m thrilled to share what makes SNC such a special place for kids and families alike. For nearly 30 years, our mission has been to create an environment where children can grow, discover, and make lifelong memories. Here at camp, we focus on friendship, personal development, and a deep connection to nature—all in a fun, supportive, and adventurous setting. All this without cell phones
One of the things that sets Swift Nature Camp apart is our focus on fostering independence and confidence. Whether it’s trying a new activity like canoeing, taking on a leadership role in a group project, or simply navigating life away from home, camp provides endless opportunities for personal growth. We celebrate each camper’s unique personality and encourage them to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and nurturing way. Seeing kids gain new skills and pride in their accomplishments is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

For our youngest campers, Discovery Camp is an especially magical experience. Designed only for first-time campers ages 6-12, this shorter program gives kids a chance to experience the joys of camp life in a way that’s just right for them. It’s amazing to watch these kids try new things—from learning about the natural world to singing campfire songs—and leave camp with big smiles and even bigger stories to tell. Discovery Camp is often the beginning of a long and cherished relationship with SNC, and we’re so proud to see those first-time campers grow into confident and capable young people.

Another cornerstone of Swift Nature Camp is our connection to the environment. We believe that nature isn’t just a backdrop for camp; it’s a teacher, a playground, and a source of endless wonder. Through hands-on activities like pond studies, wildlife observation, and outdoor adventures, campers develop an appreciation for the natural world that stays with them long after camp ends. The Camp Zoo is always a favorite, campers can even adopt a pet while at camp.Our goal is to inspire kids to become curious, mindful stewards of the environment.

At Swift Nature Camp, there’s never a dull day! With hundreds of land and water activities, campers are always engaged and excited. On land, some favorites include the Lego Cabin, Arts & Crafts, Archery, and exploring the Nature Center. On the water, campers learn Canoeing, Fishing, and Swimming, but the absolute favorites are Tubing behind the boat and jumping off the Water Trampoline. Never is there a dull day because every day is packed with fun, adventure, and opportunities to try something new.
Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing friendships that form here. SNC is a place where kids truly feel like they belong. Campers and counselors alike bring warmth, kindness, and enthusiasm to everything we do, creating a strong sense of community. Whether it’s cheering each other on during a game, collaborating on a creative project, or sharing laughs around the campfire, the bonds formed at Swift Nature Camp are something truly special.

At Bellevue Golf Club, we offer a variety of activities for members and their families. From a round of golf on our 18-hole course to swimming in the pool, playing a game of tennis, or enjoying a meal with friends and family, there’s something for everyone.

David Donnellan's current role is managing golf instruction and player-development programs at Hyannis Golf Course and Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds Golf Course on Cape Cod.  Both courses have well-appointed practice areas, including a private grass driving range and short game area exclusively available for private instruction at Hyannis GC.  Golfers can choose from a variety of lesson types, such as private, semi-private, group, and custom-made lessons.  Additionally, Donnellan offers junior golf camps from April to November.

David Donnellan has over 20 years of experience in the golf industry and has a proven track record of developing successful programs for golfers of all ages and abilities.  He began his career as an Assistant Professional at The Newport Beach Country Club in Newport Beach, California.  Subsequently, he moved to southern Sweden and held the positions of Director of Golf at Österlens Golfklubb (www.osterlensgk.se) and Head Professional for Stiby Golfklubb (www.stibygk.se).  With this background, golfers can feel confident in the instruction and player-development programs offered by David Donnellan at Hyannis Golf Course and Olde Barnstable Fairgrounds Golf Course.

Garrison Golf is the perfect place for the whole family to enjoy a fun day on the links. Our 9-hole par-3 golf course is playable for beginners yet still offers a challenge for experienced golfers to hone their short game and putting skills. We even have pull carts available for those who prefer to walk the course. 

For the youngest juniors, we offer weekly golf clinics. We also have a Junior Tournament Series, giving young players the opportunity to showcase their talents against their peers. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced golfer, Garrison Golf is the perfect spot for a day of family fun.

Our summer camps for junior golfers ages 4-15 are a great way to introduce the sport. Every year, hundreds of young golfers take part in our camps, receiving high-quality instruction in a welcoming environment. Our team of instructors includes PGA Professionals, US Kids Golf Certified Instructors, high school coaches, and college golfers, allowing us to offer structured coaching with plenty of fun and engagement. 

At Rock Junior Golf, we want to give others the same opportunities that the game has provided us. That’s why we’ve partnered with Youth On Course, an organization dedicated to making golf accessible for all juniors. We’re proud to contribute 5% of our online academy revenue to support Youth On Course’s mission. We invite you to join us in giving back to the sport and take advantage of their great offerings.

Rick Karbowski, PGA Professional, has been a member of PGA America since 1981. With his impressive career, he has accumulated several titles. He currently brings his expertise to Auburn Driving Range, where he teaches lessons to all skill levels.
