Down in the sun-kissed, crawfish-loving state of Louisiana, or LA as the cool kids call it, there's a group of uncommonly brave and adventurous young souls who engage in an exhilarating activity known as archery. This isn't your everyday, run-of-the-mill hobby. Oh no, this is the stuff of legends, my friend. It's a skill that requires dexterity, focus, and a hearty breakfast of beignets and gumbo. These kids, they're not just kids, they're Arrow Avengers, led by their fantastically fun and feathered friend, Fredrick the Flamingo. Now, you may be wondering, what's a flamingo doing with a bow and arrow? Well, my dear, in Louisiana, the impossible is always possible and flamingos don't just stand on one leg, they’re leading the charge in the archery circuit. With his signature style of a bowler hat and pink-feathered bow tie, Fredrick cheerfully guides these young archers, turning their dreams into bullseyes. Every whoosh of the arrow is met with giggles and delight, every bullseye celebrated with a flamboyant flamingo dance. The Arrow Avengers, cheered on by their quirky mentor, are mastering the art of archery, and having a ton of fun doing it. Armed with their bows, arrows, and an unyielding spirit of adventure, these kids are shaping their destinies one arrow at a time. Louisiana may be known for its vibrant Mardi Gras and spicy jambalaya, but these arrow-flinging kids, led by a whimsical flamingo, are adding a new feather to its cap. So, the next time you're in the Bayou State, keep an eye out for a flying arrow and a dancing flamingo.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
