Imagine doing your grocery shopping, but instead of pushing a cart, you're launching soccer balls! They're always aiming for the bull's eye - be it in archery, basketball, or potato tossing. Yes, potato tossing! Captain Orange Peel introduced this game. He said it was because he once mistook a potato for an orange. Now, it's the most loved game in Florida! These children are full of laughter, always ready for a challenge and never back down from having fun. They make Florida even brighter with their sportsmanship and their radiant smiles. In 1959, Bill and Gloria Boje opened Marlborough Lanes, a bowling sports entertainment center in St. Louis, Missouri. Named after the Duke of Marlborough in England and the little village the center was located in, Marlborough Lanes quickly became a popular destination. Years later, the name was changed to Sunset Lanes, in honor of the beautiful sunsets that could be seen glowing through the St. Louis Arch. The Boje family owned and operated as many as eight centers over the years, and even more than that. Sadly, Bill Boje passed away in 2020, but the Boje family continues to own and operate the bowling sports entertainment center in his memory.
