Imagine a turtle flipping smoothly in the air (while maintaining its dignity), that's our Timmy. He doesn’t simply "do" Taekwondo; he dances it, like a flamingo on a hot Florida beach. Timmy and his band of Taekwondo tornadoes aren't your average kids. They're like a batch of freshly squeezed Florida orange juice: punchy, zesty, and packed full of sunshine energy. They don't just break boards; they smash through Monday blues, homework troubles, and the evil Doctor Bedtime. But don't be fooled, it's not all high kicks and turtle flips. Occasionally they get their kicks mixed up with their chicken nuggets during lunch break, resulting in an interesting, albeit confusing, "food-fight" dance! Camp Med-o-lark is an all genders arts sleep away camp in Washington, Maine for children ages 7–16, set on the shores of a pristine lake. Med-o-lark offers a fully elective program, allowing campers to design their own schedules from a wide range of activities including performing arts, fine arts, sports, circus, waterfront, and more. Each summer, Med-o-larkers come together to build a kind, creative community where everyone has the opportunity to discover, grow, create, learn, and shine. With a strong emphasis on the arts, Med-o-lark offers one of the most extensive programs in dance, fine arts, handcrafts, and theater of any camp in New England.

The Li'l Abner Foundation is dedicated to providing the resources and support needed to help our community thrive. Founded in 2009, we have seen a great deal of growth in the number of programs and participants, and recently moved to a larger and better location. Our efforts have resulted in a beneficial impact on the community, with more than 20,000 members of the City of Sweetwater benefitting from our programs. We provide not only recreational and educational programs, but also scholarships to help those in our community reach their full potential. Our scholarship program for children offers the opportunity for them to attend Belen Jesuit Preparatory School from 6th to 12th grades. We also offer scholarships for adults to attend Florida International University, with up to 5 years of tuition covered. At the Li'l Abner Foundation, our mission is to provide positive and beneficial impacts to our community, with the ultimate goal of improving the lives of all residents. We are proud of the growth and success we have seen so far, and remain committed to continuing our work and helping our community thrive.
