Then, there's the ultimate funny character, Fumble Freddy. Now, Freddy isn't exactly the best flag football player on the team, but he sure is the funniest. He's always tripping over his shoelaces, tossing the football to the referee, and somehow always ends up with his helmet on backwards. But he's also the heart of the team, always cheering everybody up, making everyone laugh and reminding them that football is all about having fun.

So, if you ever find yourself in Florida, don't forget to catch a Flag Football game. You'll see kids zipping around the field, the football flying high and Fumble Freddy, probably chasing his own helmet. It's an adventure that's as wild and wacky as the state of Florida itself. Wesley Chapel Coyotes Youth Football and Cheerleading is the perfect place to get your child involved in a fun and exciting sport. Our program is affiliated with Pop Warner, the largest and oldest youth Football and Cheer league in the world, and our local association is with the Foundation for Youth Development of Tampa (FYD Tampa). 

Our program offers four divisions, Tiny Mites, 8U, 10U, and 12U teams, and age is determined by the child's age as of July 31. We have recruited dozens of certified volunteers and coaches and partnered with over 40 sponsors who share our principles. We also added Flag Football in the fall of 2020.

First Naples Sports

In 1999, Lane Beatty, a physical educator, had a vision to create a new type of summer camp for working parents in Naples, Florida. The Sports CLUB concept was a revolutionary idea that allowed children to choose from a variety of activities throughout the day, based on 45-minute rotations. Lane’s concept was based on the type of sports and games he had played growing up in a small town in Northern Michigan. After a successful summer camp, parents asked to have the same choices during the after-school program as well. Thus, the non-profit organization Sports Camp, Inc. was formed and the after-school Sports CLUB program began. 

Sports CLUB is dedicated to helping children achieve a balanced lifestyle that includes equal emphasis on academics, the arts and athletics. The program provides students with homework help, arts and crafts, and a variety of physical activities between 2:45-6:30 p.m. Today, the program has grown significantly and is making a positive impact on over 1000 students in Collier County.
