Once upon a time, in the sun-soaked peninsula of Florida, a land famous for its golden beaches, juicy oranges, and legendary alligators, there existed an army of tiny dancers known as the Dancing Giggly Gators. The Giggly Gators danced everywhere - on the beach, in the orange groves, even on airboats while dodging the playful splashes from the dolphins! Every beat of their feet was a burst of joy, every twirl a celebration of childhood. But remember, the Dancing Giggly Gators weren’t just about impressive dance moves. The Summer Camp experience is intended to help neglected and troubled youth by providing a safe, wholesome, and caring atmosphere, as well as teaching valuable skills and life lessons. Through activities such as swimming, canoeing, and completing a low and high ropes challenge course, children learn how to rely on themselves and each other. They also learn how to problem solve and develop healthy relationships with their peers. The camp experience is designed to help children in a natural setting, surrounded by supportive staff and volunteers. Boys and girls learn how to build trust, self-confidence, and self-esteem through activities and special demonstrations. The camp teaches children to take ownership of their actions and become positive, contributing members of society.
